I want .....

pedalites
KPL100 (Kinetic Pedal Light 100)

The Pedalite KPL100 pedal provides a moving, flashing night light cyclist signature for the motorist and is the only battery-free pedal which maintains flashing lights once the cyclist stops pedalling. Fits adult-size crank.

Pedalite is a non battery-dependent bicycle pedal light.

* Flashing LEDs in each pedal provide 360° conspicuity.
* Flashes white to the front, red to the rear and amber to the side.
* Operates automatically when ridden (fit and forget).
* Provides a unique light 'signature'.
* Provides information for the first time on a cyclist's distance, direction and relative position.
* Easy to fit, 6mm hex key included, thread 9/16 20TPI.
* No batteries to purchase or throw away.
* LED's remain flashing for at least 5 minutes after you stop pedalling.

r.r.p. £39.95 for a pair, incl. VAT

No, I don't think they'll enhance my visibility on the road or make it safer to ride, I just think they are really cute:)

Seem to be standard pedals not clipless or anything which is a shame.

I had a little light that screwed into my valve stems on my tyres and were motion activated but powered by 3 of those button batteries (hearing aid batterys)

These look cool .....

I don't think I'd put them on my road bike, that would be worse than riding a pink bike:)
But I would happy fit them to my hybrid.

Still they are nice, and the vast majority of cyclists do not use clipless so these are a neat solution for them. I like 'em.
